1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed on and read from your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a site. The same rules apply to other trackers: pixels, tags, local storage identifiers, device fingerprinting. The placing and reading of those trackers are governed by article 82 of Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended (« Informatique et Libertés ») and by the guidelines and the « cookies and other trackers » recommendation of the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
2. Current state of the site
As at the date shown above, the www.votrecreditrapide.com site places no cookie subject to consent: no audience measurement tool, no advertising network, no social media button, no third-party tracker. No consent banner is therefore displayed, since no consent is required.
Only a PHP session cookie is used. It is strictly necessary for the site to work: it remembers the display language you selected and makes form submissions secure (anti-CSRF token). In accordance with the aforementioned article 82, this type of tracker is exempt from consent.
Should an audience measurement tool or any other tracker be added, a consent collection mechanism complying with the CNIL recommendations would be put in place beforehand, and this page would be updated.
3. Categories of tracker
3.1 Strictly necessary trackers
They allow the site to work: remembering the language, securing the forms, load balancing, storing the choice expressed regarding trackers. They are exempt from consent, but remain subject to an information obligation — the purpose of this page. Disabling them in the browser may prevent forms from being sent.
3.2 Audience measurement trackers
They are used to produce anonymous traffic statistics in order to improve the site. Some of them may be exempt from consent where they meet the strict conditions laid down by the CNIL (a purpose limited to measuring the audience of that site alone, no cross-referencing with other processing and no transmission to third parties). No tool of this kind is installed to date.
3.3 Marketing, advertising and third-party trackers
They enable advertising personalisation, cross-site tracking or the embedding of third-party content (videos, social networks, chat widgets). They require your prior consent, freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. No tracker in this category is used to date.
4. Lifetime of trackers
In accordance with the CNIL recommendation:
- the choice expressed (acceptance or refusal) is kept for a maximum of 6 months according to the CNIL recommendation, and consent must in any event be renewed at the latest every 13 months;
- the lifetime of a tracker should not exceed 13 months after it is placed, with no automatic extension on a further visit;
- the traffic data collected through those trackers should not be kept beyond 25 months;
- the PHP session cookie is temporary: it expires when the browser is closed.

No other tracker is placed to date. This table will be completed before any new tool is brought into service.
6. Withdrawing your consent
Withdrawing consent must be as simple as giving it. As soon as a consent mechanism is in place, a permanent link will allow you to change or withdraw your choices at any time from any page.
As there is no tracker subject to consent, there is currently no choice to express or to withdraw.
7. Configuring your browser
Independently of the site, you can configure your browser at any time to block or delete cookies. How to do so varies from one program to another; it is described in the browser's help menu, usually under « Privacy and security ».
Blocking all cookies, including those that are strictly necessary, may degrade browsing and prevent the site's forms from being sent.
